AAFM and RSOF in conjunction with Business Services International, Inc. (BSII) provides certification training for Wealth Managers and Investment Professionals who wish to obtain one of the AAFM designations. Attorneys - Attorneys from various states will be able to apply for credit to their respective Bars within 30 days after the course. We will have forms available during the course. Please consult directly with your Bar Association and present them with our curriculum.
Although a financial planner must take our wealth management courses to upgrade their certification, Business Services International, Inc. is a registered sponsor with the CFP Board. The CFP Board also grants 26 continuing education credits for the advanced graduate Chartered Wealth Manager designation course and 26 credits for the Chartered Trust and Estate Planner designation course. All applicable credit will be reported electronically by BSII to the CFP Board. Financial Planners Standards Council CEU Credits - FPSC does not pre-approve CE credits. Currently, it is up to the CFP Professional to self-assess their own CE activities in accordance with our CE requirements and examination syllabus.
Effective for the 2004 calendar year, the CFP professional who has earned technical credits in excess of their CE requirements for the current calendar year will be permitted to effectively "carry over" these technical CE credits and apply them towards their CE requirements for the following calendar year.
*The AAFM has the right not to award any designation to a finanical planner who does not have an accredited college degree or equivalent.
